Without knowing why, this movie made me feel like I was watching something I shouldn't be watching when I was a child, because it dealt with issues that were off limits and alien in my parents stoic house. Today the movie still retains a shadowy, haunting quality, with a heavy feeling of sadness. And how sad it is that this forgotten gem is not available for a new generation to enjoy, and an older generation to rediscover. That youtube video is all we have. I hope for a release on dvd from Warner Archives or some other label that specializes in restoring these forgotten, but important films.Ali_Babahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04518578710169499503noreply@blogger.com
