I have the good fortune to be a neighbor and friend of Bea Nettles, so I have luxuriated in the richness of this show and the catalog. Indeed, I hadn't known the scope of her work. Particularly for women, Bea has provided probing and beautiful commentary on the mysteries of an artist's life, and indeed, any life that values self-reflection.
